Big Swamp Harley-Davidson Scrapbook Album Page!

I am happy to say that I survived a Luau Sleepover Party of 17 this past weekend! This marks the end of my girl's birthdays until 2014! YAH!! And with only 3 days left of school I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! I have never looked forward to Summer Break like I am this year, the 5th and 6th grade homework really took it's toll on me LOL!! And I am really looking forward to having my evenings back to spend crafting and not googling how to divide fractions!!

I am trying to complete my 2011 mini Album from our family vacation. So I decided to work on one of the pages.
Back in the day.... (pre-children) My Darling and I used to ride his Harley all over Long Island and when we moved to Arizona we used to go on all the runs to Nevada. We had such great times. Every state we visit we always make a pit-stop at the Harley Davidson Motor Cycles to grab a souvenir. We stopped off at the Big Swamp in Alabama they had a great mural painted on the wall so we stopped for a quick picture. I kept the tissue paper and a box one of the gadgets came in and used them both on my page.

Please welcome one of my Best Blogging Friends Georgiana from Carson's Creations

 Hello Crafty Friends,
Carri asked my to showcase her skittles and I jumped at the chance to share. I have been using Carri's skittles since she created them and I have truly enjoyed the variety of colors and flare it adds to my projects.
  Here is my Skittle's project...

I used Rudolph Red glitter skittles around my Vintage Lace Spellbinder, which is adhered with Zip Dry to the front of my boutique (treat) box. This would be perfect for an end-of-the-year teacher gift.

I cut out circles (cut at 3/4" which fits the bottom of the Hershey Kiss) and then stamped each one with A+. A glue pen was used to adhere each circle to the bottom of the Hershey Kiss. I used crimped red scrap paper to fill the bottom of the clear treat box.

The twine bow secures the top flap.
 Materials:
white, red, and black card stock
Spellbinders ~ Vintage Lace Motifs
Give a Hoot Cricut cartridge ~ apple (p. 35) cut at 2"
Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge ~ circles cut at 3/4"
Pink by Design stamps ~ School is Cool set
skittles by Carri
red and white twine by American Craft
DeNami boutique (treat) box
Hershey Kisses

Thank you G for sharing your adorable project! I love how you used such a great Spellbinder!

Followers that comment on both this post and  Georgiana's Guest Design post on her blog will be entered to win skittles!

Show us your Craft Room Link Party at Craftin Desert Divas!! SO FUN!!

Today I am Guest Designing over at Craftin Desert Divas! It's time for another link party!

This linky party theme is show us your craft space! Visit Craftin Desert Divas for all the rules and to play along.
The more you link up, the better chance you have to win.

I love looking at other people's craft spaces and can spend hours on You-Tube watching videos! I have come along way since 2009 when I first started paper crafting. My space has gone through many phases and every once in a while I completely empty and re-organize my space. I have a 12' wall space on one side of the office and then about a 4' space on the other wall.

Here is a quick photo tutorial of my process:

Here is the before:
In the middle:

And the final February 2011!!

So after this process I did a major re-organization March 2012:
 Sorting of all supplies!
I sorted ALL my supplies! Buttons with buttons, ribbon with ribbon etc. I used boxes during the sort to help it go faster. This took me about 3 days to complete.

This past February my Husband caved and agreed to build me an island in the middle of my office. I just started picking out the cabinets and designing the lay-out. I want to make sure I use all the possible space in the best way I can. I will post photos when the project is complete. In the meanwhile.... Here is the current state of my craft room!

I Love my space and everything in it! I can't wait to see the space  you create in! Be sure to link up and join in on the fun!
